 To further our environmental commitment, RGL Builders, Inc. became an ENERGY STAR® partner as of March 2006.  ENERGY STAR® is an Environmental Protection Agency & Department of Energy program designed to promote energy efficiency in products and buildings through partnerships with government, business and consumers. As of August 2008 we partnered with a third party energy rating company to allow us to build to an even higher standard of Green Building. We are proud to be affiliated with Southern Energy Management. They review and certify each of our new homes for energy efficiency. Through this affiliation our homes are not only certified as ENERGY STAR® rated but also to being built in accordance with the National Association of Home Builders Green Home Building Guidelines. We offer various levels of green building designs and methods and obtain the necessary certifications so that our homeowners may receive current tax credits and energy efficient ratings from power companies, insurance companies and some mortgage companies.

In addition we added two complimenting systems into our design and build process. We are now one of a very select group of builders able to offer, as an option to our standard specifications, the Icynene Insulation System and the Dry-Pro Dry Basement/Crawl Space Systems. These two systems combine to offer a Healthier, Quieter, and More Energy Efficient building environment. These systems have proven to save homeowners 40% and more in their heating and air conditioning expenses. From framing and drywall, to custom interior trim, cabinetry and finish painting. Our staff has put together a group of preferred Mortgage Companies and Lenders who offer assistance in providing financing information available in the area. Our staff is also available to handle all aspects of the design of your new home. Many clients come to us with a basic idea of what they would like, others come prepared with a floor plan which they feel would work but may need some adjustments.

In the area of design, with a state of the art computerized building program we can provide a floor plan which will encompass both livability as well as the affordability necessary for your complete satisfaction with the finished product. Although many plans may look nice on paper they don't always work well for individual needs. We can accommodate those who have collections of artwork or antiques they would like to display, by including display areas for them during the design process.

Many plans have extensive hallways or wasted square footage, which ultimately escalate the costs of construction. Our plans are customized to both your livability needs as well as your budget. All services and information we provide prior to signing a contract, such as providing our list of preferred Mortgage Companies, Lenders, Industry Partners and Realtors are provided at no extra charge to our clients.
